Inspired by LOOP House in Cowaramup, the owners chose to keep their footprint small without compromising on a sense of space and functionality for a family. Walking through the LOOP House was the perfect way for them to visualise the functionality of their new home allowing them to customise the design to suit their needs.

With great connection to the garden both north and south they were able to open up the design both ways with full height glazing giving a wonderful transparency to the building. A deck shaded by a pergola on both sides provides all year round, outdoor entertaining.
With the owner a cabinet maker this was always going to form an integral part of the finished design. From hand carved solid timber vanities to Redgum benchtops the bespoke cabinetry elements add wonderful character. Combined with stained glass windows and traditional feel board and batten cladding, this house has a great mix of old with new.
